They need to make the rules change so that NHRA teams can cross over just like they did with top fuel.

While they're busy eliminating whole divisions, eliminating qualifying sessions for sportsman on Sat at Nat'l events, etc they may as well make it really hard for the low budget teams by cutting the pro fields too. Heck, why not just insert the fast loser from the previous round to prevent bye runs. Oh wait, they already did that at a recent Top Stock event

IHRA needs to step up and adopt NHRA rules for Alcohol Funny Car. IHRA is growing here in Oklahoma but all my friends here with Funny Cars are NHRA legal racers... Change the rules so that they can compete and boost the car counts here!!!

What a great idea unify the rules for all funny cars !! Eliminate the Screw Blowers altogether from NHRA and every one will be able to race together with a roots blower .
The IHRA is the place to race in F/C it has the comaraderie, great competition, managable budgets, great crowds, and prime position to run in the show , not to mention a better TV package,more $$$ !! WHY on earth would we change to NHRA rules ??? Do you seriously think Graham Light and his tea cozies give a RATS A$$ about the Alcohol Classes ?? Now that Morgan (Lucas) has been drafted to fuel The Alcohol classes will be looking hard for a series backer at the end of that term ! Falcon tell your buddies to start testing with a roots if they wanna get in the IHRA show!. Where is Oklahoma anyway ?? |
