ive been noticing alot of things about import tuners, they dont respect the performance cars of yesterday. for example, ive been driving around town in my camaro, which isnt one of those crappy v6 ones, its got a 350 v8. well some kid in a ricer jetta pulled up behind me and got on my ass. he tried passing me five fricken times just to show off his tuner, which isnt even a japanese ride. and almost everytime i park my camaro, i get some lame ass fifteen year old kid telling me his honda could...

Im looking at getting a good import or possibly domestic sports car. Currently I have a Mazda "Chick Car" and am looking into getting something faster/more manly. I will have 15,000 or less to spend on the car initially, but I want something that is fast from the factory. im not big on the import tuner thing, but im open to driving new cars. ive got a acura integra LS and im looking for something alittle more sporty. anyone have any suggestions on which car i should get?. ive already got a camaro, i know not alot of import fans like american cars. im just looking for a small japanese ride that will get me around and has alittle get up and go when i want it.

6 Second Import Doorslammer pass!

On Saturday October 15, Brent Rau became only the second 4 cylinder door slammer in history to record a 6 second pass. This was done at Norwalk Raceway Park at the Nopi Drag Racing Association (NDRA) world finals. His first pass off the trailer was a 7.005@197mph. His second round pass was an astounding 6.976@198.29. Enclosed is a video of the pass.
